The Challenge
A human services nonprofit with a 50-year story needs to reach donors, volunteers and the people it serves, and a milestone celebration worthy of the work.
HONOR provides shelter, food, counseling and support for people and families who are homeless or at risk, including runaway youth, from its base in Middletown, New York.
Its 50th anniversary, HONOR’s Golden Anniversary Celebration, “An Evening of HONOR and Hope”, was a chance to celebrate five decades of that work with the community that made it possible.
The Approach
How the work unfolded.
Run the social presence
Organic social content and design that keeps supporters close to HONOR’s programs and stories.
Build and maintain the website
Designed and built HONOR’s website, covering programs from crisis services to housing and the food pantry, with one-time and monthly giving, and keep it running.
Plan the 50th
Design work and planning for the 50th celebration.
Run the night
All the logistics and creative behind the evening, with the help of the awesome Patti Mack of HONOR, and afterwards a recap of the night on HONOR’s website.
The Outcome
What changed.
- A website and social presence managed as one, by one team.
- A 50th anniversary celebration delivered from concept to close.
